Good morning to all of my friends, I went over to the gas station this morning and let Peggy try one of my new cookies, she said they were delicious. She wants me to make some chocolate ones to have variety so I am going to work on a chocolate icing for my next batch along with the lemon and coconut icing. I wanted to try and make some with maple butter frosting to see how that works out.

I like your idea of doing the icing. She is right about variety. When I worked in a restaurant helping with desserts, they used to say the same thing. There would always be a fruit dessert, something with cream or vanilla, a chocolate one, coffee or caramel flavor, etc. It offered options to more people. 4-5 choices is good.

Hi Blender Woman, The icing is really the key to the whole cookie that makes it sell better I think. I am also thinking of trying to make a savoury cracker with some herbs and wheat germ to see if it would be a good cracker for soups and sandwiches. I could even put my own imprint on them with different utensils.

That's a good idea also. Some people don't eat sweets, but might eat something like that in soup like you said.
