Planned on salmon but I didn't feel up to cooking. We called for pizza delivery! Great way to watch the football game.

We had chili dogs & baked(frozen) fries on paper plates. It was a nice easy meal after doing so much cooking & baking(& an infinite amount of dishes) this past week.

We used paper plates too! Reached for a coffee cup this morning and realized I forgot to run the dishwasher last night! May use paper plates for breakfast and lunch!

Linda, maybe 6 if you are a kid. I swear I could eat a dozen! And I'm just a small adult!
Aug. 25, 2013 4:56 am
They are something I only buy once every couple of years and one bag is two servings. Period. :)

Haha! Who eats only 6 pizza rolls?

This easy gourmet sandwich is so good, you would serve it to the president if you had him over for dinner. As far as grilled cheese goes, this is it! Serve with a nice gourmet Italian salad.

Fast and VERY kid friendly.. they can make them and all you have to do is bake them! Pizza sauce, cheese and their choice of topping makes this a great snack or anytime meal!

Finally got home around 9pm yesterday after errands ALL day long! Threw a bunch of these in the toaster oven and voila! Dinner!

Wow you did have a busy day! I have been thinking of asking Santa for a toaster oven. Don't have any room for it but I want one!
Aug. 25, 2013 6:46 am
I'm starting to want one also! Lots of people talking abut them here lately!
Aug. 25, 2013 6:52 am
I don't use mine that often but it's great to take outside on a hot day. It's a cheap convection model, but I think it works good for toasting/baking. I finally broke down and got a tall cabinet for an unused corner and stuffed all the extra appliances in there. It keeps them readily at hand sine it's one appliance deep but out of site. crockpot, fryer, toaster oven, toaster, food processor, etc, etc. My best kitchen investment to date.
Aug. 25, 2013 6:53 am
best investment....the cabinet not the toaster oven :)
Aug. 25, 2013 6:58 am
Eventually I'll have a small pantry to store mine in(or free up a couple cupboards, at least). I CANNOT wait! I don't care how big my kitchen is, I'll fill every crack & crevice with SOMETHING. And I hate clutter, so I really drive myself crazy.

Lisa, are we related? LOL, I bought a buffet to go with the table - filled to the max. Bought a cabinet last year, 4 shelves about 4 feet long, 6 feet tall - filled to the max. Stuff still in the guest closet! And no cluttering around my kitchen!

Aug. 25, 2013 5:37 am
Yes, Marianne. Both of us did. I used nectarines like you did.

I actually was surprised that hubby liked it so much because he usually likes either Italian or creamy dressings.

We went to dinner in Michigan with a group of hubbys coworkers(which we do about every few months). Service was good, dinner not so much. Half the table got their dinners cold after 20 minutes later than the rest of us. Management did give them a choice of redo or a free dessert though.

We went to bro's for cookout. He's doing Adkins and wanted a side with few carbs so I took green beans w/ bacon. He did brined chicken breasts. Delicious! SIL had delicious pasta salad, garbanzo salad, boiled red potatoes. I also took red velvet cupcakes from Costco. They were HUGE - cup them into four servings each (I ate 2 1/2!).
