I believe Lucky's Gazpacho, the only one ever approved of mine, took 3 or 4 years. They (AR) may never approve it. But keep posting the link here and some of us will try it out.

Many recipes languish for years unnoticed. AR does publish 75-100 recipes a week, though, so imagine how many are submitted daily. Recently we have started a thread that I think is posted on Monday where members can post a personal recipe to bring it to others' attention. Watch for that and add your recipes.

Thanks Janet, I should have mentioned that, need more coffee! Anyway, I have saved the links to the threads, I think there are 5 or 6 of them, in my Recipe Box. They are called Peeping Recipes - Week #. . .

Do you guys add categories when you submit? I wonder sometimes when they get on a bend for certain types of recipes if that's the easiest way for them to find them rather than title or ingredients.

I was thinking too hard the other day, must have been the pills. Anyway, I thought about changing a few of mine and giving them better names. Then resubmit. Yes, the categories and the timing. Right before holidays and seasons they start looking at items for those themes.

I just remembered Alex asking a long time ago if there was any reason to select categories on her personal recipes since you couldn't use it for anything. I wondered if most people check any boxes or not.

When I submitted mine I did check the categories. Who knows maybe one day I will get lucky and they might take one of mine.

Don't know about a record, but the recipe looks awesome! I'm always looking for ways to use up the apple butter in my fridge. I can't wait to try this. In the fall though, pork tenderloins are really expensive here right now. Recipe saved!

I submitted my Aunt Pat's Rhubarb Pie on 11-15-2009 and it's still not approved. Tick-tock. Tick-tock. LOL

I had recipes on here from ten years ago, I submitted about 6 recipes, and only two were published a couple years later. I just deleted the other four, I figured after ten years they would never be published! lol.....Just make sure there are not similar recipes like it on here, edit it if you need to make sure that everything has a measurement and make instructions simple. Make sure your ingredient list isn't too long, it seems the more simple recipes are published first. Good luck to all who are waiting! :)
