No help for your request, but my pasta maker came today two days early! I plan on trying your mom's recipe first. Maybe as soon as tomorrow, or by the weekend the latest. I'm not here daily, but when I see you on, I'll let you know how it turned out. Thank you for the recipe! ( The recipe that came with it calls for five eggs and a cup of flour. Wow. What a difference in ingredients.)

YW, Wow what a difference, your right. I used here recipe with my machine it worked just fine. but I did use more fresh flour so that the dough didn't stick to the rollers. Good Luck! Can't wait to hear how it turns out for you!!

Ahi Poke Basic

This is a standard raw tuna (poke) salad served in most Hawaiian homes. Although unconventional, it is sure to please the more adventurous seafood lovers. Be sure to use fresh tuna for the very best flavor, although fresh frozen tuna will produce acceptable results.

Baked pork spareribs take a tasty, tropical turn with this rich recipe that features crushed pineapple in the sauce. It goes great with mashed potatoes.

Very interesting. I'll check the store, but I did save the recipe to try another time if I don't find any ribs on sale this week. Thank you.

Traditional guacamole becomes a Hawaiian-inspired treat with the addition of fresh, sweet mango and pineapple chunks. Diced cucumber imparts an even more refreshing flavor. Mahalo!

You could use crushed pineapple instead of the cranberry, that would be good, more expensive, but good :)

I'd be tempted to look at grilled pineapple wedges, maybe sacked in rum (before grilling)and with a tiny slice of spam pinned to it (Hawaii is in love with the stuff!) to keep it from being confused with a dessert.

Its a WWII legacy...Hawaii has to import almost everything (outside of pineapples and coconuts, even that is different today when the land is more valuable than the crop) But yeah, if you know them, they are the biggest Spam consumers on the planet, and have a thousand such recipes!

Made these as an appetizer for a mother's day supper....big hit. Just be sure to use a sweet bbq sauce...so easy and cheap! You could use this sauce on meatballs too, chicken, beef or pork! As simple as it sounds, for some reason it is finger lickin good...especially with crackers and cheese on the side!
