I cook everything in mine! Home fries with onions & yellow chilies is a favorite with my gang.

So many things! I love the stove top to oven method for breaded pork chops or a nice thick steak. Sear stovetop, flip and then into a hot oven 425 - 450 about 10 minutes. Perfect.

Searing your roasts off then slow roasting them in the oven is a Terrific way to use this pan!

Given a choice, I'd rather cook just about anything in cast iron over any other cookware. It's just superior in my book. As for cooking cornbread, that's a must, AND the skillet and grease MUST be preheated so the batter sizzles up to make an immediate crust.

Cast iron is a norm for me. I like to make my breakfast eggs, cottage potatoes, pancakes, cornbread, you name it. Oh, it's great to roast my peppers & tomatoes for salsa.

Corn bread! And fried chicken...of course, in a big old chicken fryer!

Actually, for me anything but a cast iron skiller is my preference. I have a set of non-stick cookware that is great. Cast iron is a pain to use (too heavy), hard to clean/season and the idea you shouldn't wash it seems gross to me. I tossed mine in the trash and would never buy another one.
