About 2 weeks after my mom died I was sitting at my desk all alone and a overwhelming smell of gardenias filled my office. No one was around and I was on the 3rd floor with no open windows. Gardenias was my moms favorite flower and I insisted the florist find one (In Feburary) so I could put it in her hand. I'll remember that forever. She's with you too cliff.

Cliff. I almost feel like crying when I hear and feel your pain. We, your Buzz family are here with you every step of the way. I have had way too much loss in my own life, so I know the acute pain. Crying is healing, and okay. Each person's path toward healing is different, so the only advice I can give to you is be good to yourself, allow yourself to feel whatever you feel (anger, relief, sadness etc). It's all normal and OKAY. Reach out to others for support. Hugs and more hugs.

Time heals all things, even grief. Just know that all of us continue to offer very real prayers for you at this time. May God continue to comfort and Bless you during your grief.

Cliff. Grieving is a process that takes time and that has many dimensions. It's healthy and necessary. At times I still cry years later for people I miss. Be kind to yourself and give yourself understanding and time.

I will tell you what my very daughter always says during times or sorrow. "Embrace your grief and meloncholoy! It serves a purpose to heal." I.e. let yourself be sad for a time. You just lost your beloved.

Yes, Cliff - cry a lot! It made you feel a little better, huh? I'm even crying for you, too. And my Mom - gone 2.5 years now. The times between tears gets longer and longer, but may never stop. As everyone says, grieve when and how long YOU feel like it! Hugs from El Paso!
