I was wondering about the Cake Batter Ice Cream recipe. Should I use the cake mix or the exact cake batter? I've made 2 so far and neither turn tasted like cake batter ice cream. Please help!!

It's 3/4 c. of the dry boxed white cake mix sifted. Maybe try adding another 1/4 cup of the dry mix. When I order birthday cake milk shakes they put sprinkles in the shake and for the cake part they use a Torani Shortbread syrup. Might be worth a try to get that cake flavor??? Here's what I'm talking about. Good luck. Maybe someone will have a better answer in the morning :)
