I was boiling chicken hindquarters to shred later on, and I put them in the pot partially frozen, not even realizing the little plastic/cloth thing they put in the bottom of the package was still attached to the chicken. They boiled for about an hour. Still edible or should I toss? Not sure if there are chemicals or something in those little cloths...

If it was poison in your mistake, it was poison on the grocery shelf. I would think you can chalk this one up to experience (that horrible taskmistress) and eat without guilt.
