I make mine like this, some days I use lemon juice, some days I use a dash of vinegar or pickle juice a tsp of sugar, depends if I feel sweet or sassy, lol. Don adds radishes which is a great idea, I add shredded kohlorabi or a bit of horse radish for a kick to the slaw

Well I like a creamy coleslaw. Do you remember the Old Country Kitchen one, from early 70's? I'll make up a sauce and put with slaw as is eaten. Liker of MW vs mayo, I use 1/2 cup of sour cream to every 1 cup of MW or mayo and 1 T of vinager white or apple cider to those amounts. Again depending on how many servings you want yet say 1-1 lb bag of pre-cut slaw. Though I cut my own, cheaper and better. 1 bag of slaw 4-6 fresh thin cut of full length table onions 1 large green pepper s n p to taste celery seed to taste about 1 T and some season salt to taste about 1-3 t also can put in a T of sugar if desired but the base ingredients are MW/mayo, sour cream is the secret yumm factor for sauce all else is common and interchangable per taste and prefference.

I have tried so many coleslaw recipes without success. Recently I made " Bobby Flays" creamy coleslaw and everyone loved it- not too sweet or bland- just right!! Used bagged mix and purple cabbage. sorry I have tried a few AR recipes but was best so far!!!
