I'm using this recipe to make buns. the recipe says 375 degrees for a loaf but as the buns are smaller I'm thinking 350. What is your opinion?

Onion Bread II

Old family recipe onion bread baked to a golden brown and decorated with circles of onion on top. Great for a ham sandwich.

I'm not sure about this, but with other recipes (like muffins or cupcakes) I've done the same temp but fewer minutes. Something to do with the ingredients and how they rise.

I'm not sure about this recipe, but when I bake buns, its usually at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

But I do some at 400 for 15 minutes, too.

This is it! I've been through many recipes to come up with this one. Great for BBQ beef sandwiches. If you prefer plain rolls, omit onion ingredients.

I Have made this one many times now, I bake at 350 for 20 minutes, but I do make big rolls, so maybe check at 15 and go from there!

Thanx Marianne, Sheryl, and LOBSTER. First time to make this recipe, but the reviews are so positive...

I generally make rolls at 350. Depends on your particular oven and type of pan you use (dark pans tend to cook faster and work best at lower temps so the bottom doesn't burn). Usually I can tell when bread is done by the color of the crust.
