*Peeping Recipes* What is the 'Peeping Recipe' Endeavor? It's were you 'peep' around and find a personal recipe that's in someone's recipe box, make that recipe sometime during the week and post the link to it here on 'thebuzz' on Monday telling us all about it. There are so many hidden treasures and the choice is yours what to make. 'Peep' around and enjoy what you find! or in some cases not but have fun. I thought this to be a nice idea after discovering a great recipe hidden away in a member's recipe box after her passing. Let's not wait to find these gems. If you are not sure how to find personal recipes it's easy. Find a member, go to their recipe box and click on the word "Type" twice. That will sort the recipe by type. Scroll thru till you come to 'Personal Recipe'. Not only will you find their recipes (if they posted one) but you will may also find those of others. Check and see though if overtime the recipe was published. Again, you choose what you want to make and we will see you next Monday when you tell us all about it!

I made Homemade Grapenuts Cereal by larkspur. It was easy to make and tasted just like Grapenuts Cereal! except better because it was made with wholesome good ingredients. I am more sensitive to sugar so I cut the brown sugar called for back to 1/2 c. and thought it was just great for me! Loved that I was able to do this. Great recipe larkspur! Thanks.

I'm noting in this post what I made and hoping everyone else will too. Next week I think I need to clean up the paragraph more and be clearer. The feedback from everyone helps get my brain thoughts in order.

I made this last Monday~ When it was still a personal recipe! I'm so glad to see that this one is published :) We LOVED this sauce! I've had her recipe saved for over 2 years now and am sad I'm just now making it! Will be made over and over :)

I made this as well- This is an excellent sauce! I used fresh herbs, from my garden, in place of the dry. I had homemade sausage I used and it was enough to sub for the beef as well. I added at least a tablespoon or so of crushed red pepper because we like a little heat. I toasted Allison with a glass of red wine and one for the pot in her honor. The sauce was rich, thick and meaty. Wonderful aroma and I could not resist dipping some crusty bread into it, just to *test* it :) The recipe makes quite a bit so I used half over some linguini and froze the rest to appreciate another day. I can't wait to make this one. Not only will I use it over some pasta but want to try it on a homemade pizza and over spaghetti squash too!

These are bdwelds hard steamed eggs. They are so, so easy to peel vs every other method I have ever tried. Love them! Thanks bdweld!!!

I used this method at Easter with a bunch of VERY fresh eggs. Perfect! every single egg was easy to peel and absolutely perfect.

Been saving this recipe for a while now. Our garden is exploding early this year so I finally had the chance to make these! We had almost a pound but I followed the recipe measurements precisely. I was close enough ;) These were delicious! Our peppers were a perfect texture, still a little crisp but not overly soft like store bought can be. Perfect for our liking. I am looking forward to when the plants come into full production so I can put some up for the winter. Delicious on a burger! I am going to use this recipe to make Christopholofigus's Infamous Jalapeno Relish, from this site, with my own homemade pickles. So looking forward to that! Thanks for the recipe!

This was a nice change from a typical lettuce based salad and relatively easy to put together. I have fresh basil and some spicy Mexican oregano from my garden that I used in place of the dry. We tossed it all together and let it marinate overnight. Perfect salad for a BBQ or a light lunch by the pool!

That's the cookie recipe that came here? If so, it makes AWESOME cookies and cream ice cream. Made ice cream on the 4th and added about a cup of cookie crumbs, YUM!
