The simplest and easiest thing, chocolate covered pretzels. I put sprinkles on ours...hubby and kids and any group I have made it for eat them till they are gone!!

This is a killer dessert recipe, and super easy to make! I recently made it for the first time, and as the reviewers state, using store bought key lime juice works beautifully. A great american dessert!

Cubes of red velvet cake fill the center of this delicious cheesecake, while red velvet cake crumbs make up the crust.

In honour of your fourth of July, I was thinking something "red white and blue", and came to the simplest of ideas with blueberries, raspberries and cool whip/vanilla ice cream, whipped cream as a base of such an effort. (Don't ask me to be "creative", that won't happen quickly!) You could do it as a "torte" or an ├ęclair, or plain old "johnnycake" (flapjack) and top with some sort of "stars and bars"...happily you have another 3 days to figure it out!

Suggest this ~ made it for July 4th party last year ~ outstanding, very impressive. Does take a little while to pull it all together, but well worth time and effort.

Blueberry Gelatin Salad

This is a recipe I discovered about 25 years ago when grape gelatin was hard to find! It's a terrific side dish or a delicious dessert. It's very rich in flavor and can be made ahead of time. Also good with cherry gelatin and cherry pie filling.

Also would like to recommend **CREAMY BLUEBERRY GELATIN SALAD**, from Taste of Home website. OMGoodness, out of this world delish!! Recipe may be interchanged with other canned pie filling and jello, to make it **extra special**. Am making the blueberry one, and second one using raspberry pie filling/raspberry jello for HS graduation party (belated) on July 4th. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO YOU!! K.
