We will be volunteering at a race this weekend and need a quick breakfast that is very filling and will hold us for many hours until we can sneak in a lunch. I can prepare the breakfast ahead of time but we will not have time in the morning to bake for more than 15 minutes. Thanks in advance!!!!

A great solution for busy mornings. Just put the ingredients in your slow cooker before going to bed, and it will be ready for breakfast.

I plan to make these and freeze for later. They look good and have good reviews. You could warm them up quickly in the microwave.

Hi; you could do these or pancakes a head of time and pop them in the toaster in the morning.

Hi Stardust. I saw a recipe in a magazine last month for overnight oatmeal using steel cut oats. This one is very similar to that recipe, if not exactly. I haven't made it, but man does it look good. http://www.theyummylife.com/Slow_Cooker_Cherry_Almond_Oatmeal
