Thanks for the quick recipes you gave me last week. Saved most all of them. But with another month of tiling still to complete, I want more! How about your favorite recipes that involve simply dumping a few cans or boxes into a pan, skillet or slow cooker, maybe with some meat or chicken?

I like to make this with leftover rotisserie chicken.

Thanks, Bibi. Got no adobo chiles, but I DO have some diced frozen jalapeños. I'll just add a pinch of adobo seasoning, and I should be good to go. Everything else I've got. :)

Although I am not a fan of pot roast, I really did like this one.

Easy peasy! I can get 2 more meals from the leftovers, too. I'm thinking BBQ beef sandwiches and shredded beef tacos. Saved! :)

Another save, thanks! I don't buy boxed mac n' cheese, but I can use frozen corn, add some liquid, dried pasta and extra cheese. Should work!

It should. I try to keep at least one pack of mac & cheese in the cupboard for a quick meal. I do add extra cheese too. I also am using frozen corn and adding mushrooms as well.

Peppered shrimp is simmered in store-bought Alfredo sauce. Cayenne pepper and Romano cheese give it an extra kick.

Hi ya Lucy! This doctored alfredo sauce sure does sound good, I would use jarred roasted red pepper and canned mushrooms to speed it up even more and shorten the prep time. Good luck!

Him yourself, Saveur! I'll save that for a night when I want to cook. I don't do jarred sauce, but the recipe looks good. Thanks :)

I used salsa verde. I know it's getting hot, but we eat soup all year, slow cooker outside, dine inside :)

That's how we do it, to, but you knew that, yeah? :0 Saved! I'll use my own picante sauce. Like my BBQ and taco sauce, as soon as I get low, I make another batch. :)

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

A hearty combination of beans, corn, tomatoes, and taco seasonings, slow cooked with shredded chicken. Top each bowl with Cheddar cheese, sour cream, and crushed tortilla chips. Made mostly of canned ingredients, this tasty soup lets the slow cooker do the work so you don't have to!

Farmhouse Chicken

This dish gets its great flavor from dressed-up canned soup and its ease of preparation from stuffing mix. In less than an hour, I can assemble this casserole, bake it and put it on the table.-- Alice Faye Ellis, Elkton, Oregon

LL: Although I make this recipe, I don't normally recommend it because it's so elementary. I precook fresh onion and celery in a little bit of butter. This is fairly popular with the less-particular family members...http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Farmhouse-Chicken...Good luck with your tile! It's a lot of work, but you'll be pleased with the results.

OMG! The AR link takes me to some dill/green olive chicken thingy. Ugh! But! The TOH recipe looks simple and good. No stuffing mix, but I could use butter/garlic croutons, maybe sub one of the cream of celery with cream of chicken. Thanks!
