If I'm having a "taco bar" for a high school graduation party for 75 people, how many tacos should I plan on per person? There will be a mix of kids and adults. The tacos will be the main dish, there will be other minor 'munchies'

My guess would be roughly 3-4 per person, some will probably eat only one or two while others may eat more, I alawys like to make extra its better than not having enough.

I agree with Bernadene. I think that most people will only eat 2 and small kids will eat one maybe 2 and some people will go with 3 or 4. So maybe count on 3 per person. Good luck =D

I think 2-3 for an adult and only one for kids under 10 or so. If its an open house, people are there to socialize, chances are they won't be filling up like if its a sit down dinner. If its hot out, I would think they are really headed for the cold drinks instead and the lighter fare like a fruit salad.

If there will be high school boys there, the average will go up!

I was thinking 3 or 4 also.

me too ... 3 to 4 per person. I know I can 3 myself if I'm hungry.

3-4 is a safe way to figure it. You certainly don't want to run out and tacos tend to be something you can eat while walking around.

I'd figure 3 per person if mainly females, 4 per person if mainly males I hate to be sexist, but it just seems like men pack away more of an item like this!
