Question two...I bought a huge bag of cuties because little man swore he would eat them all...I should have known better. Any desserts I can make with them? Or any ideas what to do with them all? Thanks a million!

Broccoli with Mandarin Oranges

I came up with this colorful and flavorful recipe to go with my garlic chicken when I serve Chinese food. Who'd believe green and orange really go together?

One of the reviews suggest honey instead of molasses. I haven't made this but I would make that sub. . .

Crisp romaine, crumbled bacon, mandarin orange segments, toasted almonds, and a homemade vinaigrette make this green salad a standout.

This has BACON (I miss bacon). . .and I miss cuties! They are my favorite hand to mouth food and they are over here. There were days this winter when I would eat 6 a day, LOL!! Better than candy :)

Fresh grapefruit sections are arranged in the bottom of a baked pie shell and topped with a gelatin mixture for a refreshing tart-sweet pie. Serve with whipped cream.

This made with the oranges, peach jello, no sugar, a squeeze of lemon juice and a thin layer of slightly sweetened cream cheese on the crust is excellent.

Sweet Potato Oranges

Oranges are hollowed out and filled with mashed sweet potatoes, orange juice, eggs, vanilla extract and butter. A sweet, buttery pecan topping is spooned on top, and the oranges are baked. This is a sweet treat that's impressive and tasty.

This sangria is light and crisp, as it is made with a dry white wine instead of red. It is the perfect cocktail for a warm summer's evening.

I really don’t know, either; but from the recipes suggested, I would hazard a guess that they are a fruit like an orange.

They are basically clementines. Cuties is the brand.

I thought maybe that to be the case, but there is no common ingredient in the recipes listed above. Perhaps a regional name?

And they're,really easy, for little ones to peel. Totally delicious but I can only eat so many before they go bad...lol

So you mean clementines???? I have only seen mandarine oranges already peeled, I don't think they are generally sold whole.
