Cod is coated with lemon juice, cracker crumbs, and wine before baking for just 20 minutes for a quick and easy weeknight dinner.

We're having a potluck at work, with a $10 gift exchange, the type where the first present is opened, the second person can take that present or open a new one, etc. Most of them (male & female) are younger (25-45) and don't cook a lot. I'd like something fun and different. Any ideas?

Lottery tickets seem to go over big at gift exchanges I have been to.

Hadn't thought of that at all! Thanks, Koriekiss!

Everyone loves scented candles.

$10 worth of Jelly Bellys?

Yum! The Jelly Bellys sound good, sassy! And party chef-the scented candles are good, too!

Wind&Willow dip mix packs and a little spreader and some crackers. Maybe in a little basket or dip sized bowl.

Bottle of Sangria, or is that overstepping the work boundry?

One of those desktop size fountains. Try the dollar store. They are so cute!

Love the dip/spreader/cracker idea. Sangria-lovely, but not work-approved. We're nurses, so fw have desks at work. I do need to try the dollar store, I'll probably get over there Friday.

*fw=few, if you couldn't tell.

Might be over 10 bucks, but movie tickets.
Apr. 23, 2013 5:55 pm
Good idea! I'm not sure of the price, but it would make a nice gift. Thanks, Celeste!

Lottery tickets was my first thought. Car wash tickets, pistachios, Itunes card, big bag of M&M's, local restaurant certificate, block of cheese or cheeseball and a box of crackers, thermal tumbler - like Tervis,

Love the ideas, Molly! Esp the big bag of M&M's! Thanks.

Candy is universal. DD said Lindt Truffles or Ghirardelli squares always win. Or $ store/Target.. 10 boxes of $1 movie candy.

Pamela-I LOVE Lindt Truffles....don't know if they'd make it to the potluck! Manella-Bath and body is always good, too. I was playing with the idea of different hand creams, but everyone has a favorite, it seems.
