It says serves ten. Quinoa is a 1:3 ratio. So 3/4 cup dry gives you 2 1/4 cups cooked plus the 3 cups of additional ingredients. 1/4 cup per serving? Serving size is relative, depends on how much you actually want to eat of it.

Wouldn't the 2 1/4 plus the 3 give you a little over five cups, or about 1/2 cup per serving, for ten? But I completely agree that you can't depend on the stated serving sizes. I once had a recipe for a bar cookie and if cut into the number of servings stated, would have measured about 1 3/8 inch by 1 inch. And it wasn't even that rich, just a regular cookie. No one I know eats just one cookie that small for a serving.

Thank you ladies!!! I was thinking either 1/4 cup or 1/2, but not sure.

I made the recipe the other night. The 10 servings are VERY small servings. Probably closer to the 1/4 cup then the 1/2 cup. If you are using it for a main dish it really needs to be doubled. Sometimes I wonder about the servings sizes on some of the recipes.

I normally would just eat what I wanted, but I am trying to get healthier and these darn points add up. Thanks again!

I probably should add that we were trying to split the 10 servings between 5 people.

If it's the recipe on this site, it says it makes 10 servings. It's a popular recipe, that's for sure, but I've never made it. Sounds good!
