http://allrecipes.com/personalrecipe/62395036/the-best-baby-back-ribs-youll-ever-eat/detail.aspx....I'm hoping to make these tonight but they need to finish thawing :) It's our only "nice" day this week so I'd really like to get my 1 grilling meal in! Not totally sure what we're having w/the ribs, but I have 3 redskins & 2 baking potatoes, so probably something w/those.

Lisa, you could bake the ribs and finish them under the broiler. Done that several times with Christina's ribs. I use a 1/2 tablespoon of each spice on one slab of ribs. Best ribs ever!

Thanks for the link, nanny! I saved it & plan to look through that site more later. And I saw that you recommended the frozen biscuit recipe-glad you liked it well enough to recommend it. It was a lifesaver when I had to cook for a family after a 12-hour shift.

here's the recipe that elle is talking about- i add 2 tablespoons buttermilk powder- yum- i love having biscuits in the freezer- i only have to make evry 3rd or 4th time we have them-- love it:-)

I'll have to try it with actual buttermilk. I tend to save soured milk for biscuits, cakes, pancakes and waffles; probably buttermilk would be better!

Easy Chicken Taquitos

Corn tortillas are tightly rolled around a cheesy chicken mixture and baked until crisp. Serve these baked taquitos as an appetizer with salsa or top with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream for a main course.

Good morning! Possibly these tonight with some leftover chicken, if the store has corn tortillas. With a Mexican-inspired rice & a salad. If not these, chicken enchiladas. I managed to get together a list of recipes for the week last night and am hoping to make it to the store today so I can buy ingredients and get some cooking done. I set out my 10-lb frozen ham into the fridge, but discovered it takes 5-7 hours PER POUND to thaw, so I probably won't get it baked until the weekend. Such is life.

I wish they'd make larger corn tortillas, all the ones I find are so small and you can hardly fill them with anything.

Kay's Spaghetti and Lasagna Sauce

Submitted by: SHERIMA1
This sauce came from a good friend's Italian mother-in-law. It is easy, and by far the best homemade sauce I know of. Great for both spaghetti and lasagna. Pssst...the secret is the sugar! Also, as I am now vegetarian, it tastes great with out the meat! Just substitute two tablespoons olive oil for the beef.

Be sure to check my recipe box in the next while and I should be able to post it for you. It has been getting good comments from the photos that I have been sharing with my friends on Facebook and my local community. Stay tuned.
