kdiddle is looking for: (3 recommendations)
I have some frozen uncooked Garlic Herb Biscuits that bake without thawing. Could I thaw them and use for the recipe inside? They aren't as good as I remember and I need to find a way to use them up. Thanks for your help.

I can't link it, it's a personal recipe. I'd like to use them to make Onion & Garlic Biscuit Flat Bread by bellepepper.

i have done these several times- but i make the biscuits-- we love them:-)

if it is for topping something like a pot pie - i would thaw & use

or if you have broth- you could thaw & make dumplings

I hardly ever buy premade stuff these days. But Hubbs broke 3 bones in his main hand the day before I had baby #3. So I broke down and stocked up on some things that were quick and easy.

If they are really old (like past the exp. date) I would just pitch them! My experience has been that they dont rise and bake correctly when expired!!

i would thaw and maybe even flatten them a little- no need for the bisquick & buttermilk- nice cozy meal

I double read the recipe. If I am reading correctly the biscuit being used is from the fridge so I would say yes it would be best to defrost first if not you will need a longer cooking time and the recipe maybe over cooked.

or thaw and roll out long & use for bread sticks to go with a spaghetti type meal
