Good morning! We have our monthly inlaw get-together today. It's a soup & sammie theme so I'm making this soup to use up odds & ends I'm trying to get rid of.

Looks very similar to Hillshire Farms New Orleans corn bisque with smoked sausage that was one of our first recipes from AR and still a family favorite.

So, we had grilled burgers lastnight & I made a meatloaf also. My burgers were so unbelievably dry & the meatloaf didn't have an ounce of fat to pour off. Weird? I bought a 10 lb bag of what I thought was 80/20. I can't believe they would've sold a less fatty blend as cheap as I bought it($2.39 lb). Hoping the meatloaf isn't as dry & tasteless as the burgers were.

If it is dry, maybe you could make a gravy to go with it? That is pretty weird though...

This recipe shows how you can shock your greens to stay brilliant, while making a presentation that says you really care about your food. The combinations of color with the bright green, red flakes, and white/brown topping is pleasing. The taste highlights sweet against spice, with a nice, crisp bite of seasoned broccoli.

This is a tasty way to use up all the yellow squash you have pouring out of your garden every summer. I also do this same thing with zucchini.

I wondered who beat me in posting this. I plan to grill squash too! I've only a few garlic bulbs and I may leave it out so that I can use them in my other recipes.

this was pretty good but VERY vanilla-y. I blew a fuse while making it & didn't realize it so I ended up w/rubbery french toast :( 6 days of cooking & I'm eating out for 10. I cannot WAIT! It's been 1 failure after another for me lately, whether it's a recipe I/we don't like or a dumb mistake on my part. Grrrrr.
