New format question - how do I do an ingredient search? That's one of my favorite features of this site and for some reason I can't find it. Thanks!

Lisa asked earlier and here is Linda's response. Answered by: linda2d Apr. 11, 2013 8:49 am If you do a basic search at the top, the next screen has options to the left for ingredient, advance, collection, etc. I'm hoping that is something that isn't in it's final state.

I also hope AR is paying attention as this is a feature that many are asking about.

Sorry, I missed Lisa's question, but thanks for answering. I just tried it and you can get to the screen but I don't like it - too many steps. I hope they change it back, especially for new people. That was one of the first things I noticed when I starting coming here was that I could search on ingredients. The way it is now it's unlikely people will notice.

I agree I loved the way you could do an ingredient search and hope they will change it back to the way things were. This has been my favorite site for finding new recipes for years and don't like this new method.

Click on INGREDIENT right under the search bar.

livingfortheLord, if you have the new format INGREDIENT is no longer under the Search Bar. Bad move on AR's part. You should have the new format soon.

They are introducing the new format slowly. It comes and goes. I am sure it will appear for you in the near future. Welcome. I look forward to seeing you on the Buzz.

You can also go to "sitemap", all the way at the bottom of the page, then go to Finding Recipes, then click on ingredient. I hope they are all paying attention and put it right backup at the top where it was so quick and easy to find...

I added a link on the bookmark bar (right above the search bar) in my browser so I could still get there in "one click". I use the advance search features more than anything here.
