I have a recipe the calls for buttermilk powder where can I get this. I have never heard of it. thanks

here we hqve it at kroger(fred meyer)- with the baking goods- ev. milk -dream whip- in that area-- i love that stuff- i store in fridge after open:-)

it will be in a small(round) box- like cocoa comes in-- less than $5.00- really dreses up all kinds of things- nice to keep on hand

I bought it at Walmart. Next to the baking powder, etc...

I too find it at my local market next to the baking powder. Like Nanny, I refrigerate after opening. I can't live without the stuff. :)

I know that Waldbaum's food stores carry powered buttermilk in their baking aisle.

I keep it on hand to mix with water as per the directions and to soak my chicken before frying. I recommend mixing it in a jar with a lid and lots of shaking. It tends to clot at the bottom of the jar.
