Hi everyone! Do any of you use the newer type of pressure cooker to cook in? My parents bought me one recently and so far I've only cooked chicken (bone-in from frozen to done in about 30 mins) and scalloped potatoes. I've read the recipes that came with the cooker but none really excite me. I love that it cooks things quickly and keeps them hot for up to 8 hours, but I have no idea what to fix in it! I guess I should also mention this baby will also act as a crock pot, warmer and it browns meat before you cook it too!

Type pressure cooker into the search bar up top, and on the page that comes up, you will see videos and a collection of pressure cooker recipes at the very top.

Wow! And 71 recipes. Sorry I can't be more help. I don't have a pressure cooker.

I bought one a few months ago to replace an ancient "chugger" and I love it. I can't get over how quiet it is! Two sites that I have found recipes on are www.missvickie.com and www.hippressurecooking.com. I also saved one that I tweaked for pressure cooking: http://allrecipes.com/personalrecipe/63534217/stress-free-pressure-ginger-pork/detail.aspx

Thank you! I will check these out. I posted this question then was deluged with a ton of work and didn't have a chance to check your answers before dinner but I'll look to see if I can find something for tomorrow. :)

LOVE my pressure cooker. I use it for beans, chicken broth, steel-cut oats (make a big batch and refrigerate it, then microwave for breakfasts all week). Just had this for the second time: Pressure Cooker Teriyaki Chicken http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Pressure-Cooker-Teriyaki-Chicken/

Oh...never thought about steel cut oats! I have some I've been wanting to fix. Thanks for the tip. We're usually so rushed in the morning that we don't have time to fix anything. It would be great to have lots of these fixed up so everyone could just grab one and stick it in their bag on the way out the door. Thanks!!
