Oh, bother! I was making sausage cheese balls, and I accidentally cooked the sausage, thinking I was doing it right! I now have a bowl of cooked breakfast sausage, covered in 2c bisquick and a pound of sharp cheddar cheese. Is there any way to salvage the cheese and/or the sausage? TIA...signed, a goofball

Maybe use an egg to help bind the mixture?

Was thinking the same thing, add a beaten egg, roll in fine bread crumbs and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes turning once! Good luck!

I ALWAYS cook my sausage, it makes it taste so much better. I add 2tbs of water and mix all together. My family loves them!

Thanks, everyone. When I read through the reviews, somebody had written that you're not supposed to cook the sausage first. I'll add the egg and it will be done! I appreciate your help!
