i watched shark tank with wife a guy was selling a self-sealing blow-dried tape thingee. i remember when we ran out of paper, tape, cards, ink for cards...but the clamor ( very quiet clamor for xmas and birthdays) was fun. the guy got a bundle. i thought the mistakes and quick reworkings were part of the process,( think unexpected guests.) the wife said a blow-dried tape was great. i disagree. .

Ok---you got my attention. I love shark tank, but it doesn't come on here (left coast) for another hour plus change. I'll be sure and watch it and weigh in with an opinion.

Hi all Shark Tank is a Canadian Show on the CBC. What happens is there is a panel of 4 top class business men and woman. What happens is people come up with their request for investment money. They have to make a pitch and answer questions and the four members see if they want to invest or not.

Ok I watched it. This is not a product I would buy and the guy was just about the worst salesman I've ever seen. Can't figure out what Mark Cuban intends to do with the company. It is a product I would expect to see in the dollar store.

The show is also run in the US and I have occasionally watched. As with most of the game/reality type shows now on (there are a LOT of them around), the panelists and their big ego often get in the way of the intent. I do find it fun to see the followup when a few of the ideas actually pan out. Although they claim the panelists use their own money to invest, I assume they get paid some kind of salary to be a panelist, but the show never talks about that.

His product was gift wrap for the gift wrap challenged. Um, isn't that why they have gift bags? It was basically a sleeve that you put over your box/gift then you use a hair dryer to shrink it to fit for a neat package. Somewhat similar idea out there already for baskets but his were gift paper looking and the basket version is clear.

I am a huge fan of gift bags. My gift wrapping skills stink.
