I have about 1/2 head (from a fairly large head) of red cabbage that needs to be used up. I'm out of green cabbage and have no idea what to do with it. Does anyone have a favorite recipe for me to try out?

A classic, justifiably popular Japanese stir fry in which chicken cooked in a yummy soy sauce, chili paste garlic blend is tossed with buckwheat soba noodles, carrot, cabbage and onion.

Marinated tilapia fillets are grilled instead of fried in this tangy, flavorful twist on fish tacos.

Marie, how is your friend in NY doing?

So thoughtful of you to ask. Cancer is gone, no chemo or radiation needed. The doctors were amazing. After she gets her strength back life will be normal for her. What a blessing she received. And I am grateful to no longer live in an area with snow!!!

I'm sorry I don't have an exact recipe to recommend for you ladybuggs, but I have used red cabbage in eggrolls before. Very good and so colorful!

Thats what I bought it for but all they had were huge heads and I had a bunch leftover and used some with a corned beef recipe tonight and STILL had some left lol

Lol. That's the biggest reason I rarely cook with it. There are only two of us and short of making cabbage pancakes, I run out of ideas!

The produce people will cut cabbage and melons in half if you ask.

Dried cranberries and chopped walnuts gives this red cabbage slaw a nice texture.
