A unique and popular recipe. Sliced apples under a lattice crust get bathed with a sweet buttery sauce before baking.

We like doing this. We use a Pampered Chef skillet, seasoning the chicken parts with onion and garlic powder and smoked paprika. Low and slow is our way to go. But to speed it up, 350 degrees for about an hour with top quality chicken gives good results. I would do it differently on the gas grill, but in the oven, this is the current method.

My sister pours a bottle of BBQ sauce over chicken pieces & bakes. I don't like mine that wet. I trim pieces of most skin, rub well with a dry BBQ rub (commercial or homemade), let sit in the fridge for 2+ hours, bake or grill. Finish by brushing with a wet bbq sauce to bake & get sticky.

First I would lay chicken out on a cookie sheet covered with foil, lightly sprinkle chicken with McCormick Grill Mates, Montreal Chicken spice, wrap your chicken in another piece of foil and close it up,(to keep it moist) cook at 350 for 30 minutes, open the foil(carefully), turn oven up to 400, and pour on Bulls Eye, or your favorite BBQ sauce, and smooth over chicken & continue to cook in oven at 400 for 20 to 30 min. more, not covered. Let chicken rest outside of oven 15 minutes or so, and it ready.

I like to boil chicken legs until fully cooked, remove skin, spray oven pan with non-stick spray. Then arrange chicken in pan cover with as much or as little bbq sauce to your taste {I prefer Sweet Baby Rays} pre-heat oven to 350.cook about 20-30 minutes.keep an eye on dish remove if bbq sauce starts to burn.serve and enjoy!

Not that this isn't good as is, but I add liquid smoke, molasses, some onion and garlic powder. I LOVE this!
