Sorry, my timer went off ... So, I had trouble getting this spread out to fit in the pan. Then, when the timer dinged, it was "loose" in the pan. I was really confused! I've never seen it like that - in nearly 20 years with this recipe...?

They're not bad, actually... I cooled them on paper towels, which soaked up one of the sticks of butter (=

Maybe if I'd realized my mistake when I couldn't make it fit the pan... ~sigh~

They would still be good as a trifle or parfait filling or sprinkled on ice cream.

I may do that - or I may just take them to work - those guys will eat anything (=

If they are as buttery as you say they could be used as a crust for a cheesecake or frozen pie dessert. Just use a food processor to turn them into crumbs. Pat into your springform pan or pie plate and pop in the oven for a few minutes so they will set.

Good idea!

Thats what I do. Take them to work that is. Your right they will eat anything as long as it done't move.

A prepared pie crust gives you a shortcut to a delicious pie filled with a mixture of cream cheese and chocolate-hazelnut spread.

Barb: Marie C's suggestion is brilliant. You should try this pie. Your co-workers would love it!

Thank you for the Nutella suggestion (= Rheses have mint in them, so maybe not - but this a contender for future reference!
