I'm adding fresh spring peas to a slow cooker stew recipe (original recipe does not call for them). When should I add them? How long will they take to cook? Thanks!

Maybe a bit later than that, but the above answers are completely correct in my opinion.

I'd only add them for the last 10 minutes!

Thanks everyone - I added them the last 30 minutes and it was perfect (my slow cooker is old and tends to take a lot of time, so it may be less for a newer slow cooker). Thanks for the help!
