I ordered a stovetop smoker and it arrived yesterday! I was curious if anyone else has a stovetop smoker? I think today I am going to make ribs and then tomorrow salmon. I am very excited. I have been wanting a smoker and saw an electric one but it was $200 and I really didn't want to spend the money. A friend ended up getting one and they love it but you have to stay home to change out the wood chips and it takes all day. The stovetop is much faster, depending on what you make an hour maybe for meats. Well anyway, wish me luck that I don't mess this up. :)

Barbequed Ribs

These pork ribs require a double cooking process and an overnight bath in a marinade. The spicy rub and rich sauce make them worth the wait!

Is it a Camerons Smoker? First time I made these I did in my stove top smoker. Worked pretty good...."I added 1 t. each of liquid smoke and molasses. Made one full recipe for one rack (appx 2 lb) I kept tasting and thinking it was a lil too much vinegar so I added a bit more ketchup. Still a bit dubious but as has been said, great once on the meat. Mixed and just lightly sprinkled with rub. I deviated a bit in cooking, too lazy the day before to mess with it. Used my stove top smoker and let it go for the full time. Ater the chips burn up it becomes like an oven. Let it cool down then sauced and reheated in oven then under the broiler a bit. Definitely a do again."

Made with smoked chicken breast, this delicious salad stands out from the crowd. It's filled with crunchy celery, slivered almonds, fresh basil, and juicy grapes.

I use the smoker for this the most. Brine then smoke. LOVE this recipe.

I use my stovetop smoker a lot. However, for sauced recipes, I will smoke the meat and finish the recipe in another pan because the long cooking times tend to make for difficult cleaning of the smoker. Mine is an Emeril (AllClad) cast iron that we picked up in a going out of business sale.
