A rich macaroni and cheese casserole made with sour cream, butter, and two kinds of Cheddar cheese is ready in less than an hour but is fancy enough for a holiday dinner.

This is the side. But my family needs to have meat as well and do not know what to do.

So easy to marry chicken with the popular tang of ranch dressing--just marinate chicken in the dressing mix and broil!

How about some type of marinated chicken and then grill it?

This look great. Looks like it would even work on bonless chicken legs (I have two who do not like white meat LOL) Thanks Paula

My kids always want BBQ chicken or sloppy joes with mac-n-cheese. Hamburgers would be good too.

Thanks Don. I was thinking of using parsley and cilantro (mind the spelling for the herbs. Is there any herb you would suggest that would be better?

This came to mind first...if you like Ham..... :)

I have two of us who love ham and 2 who do enjoy but this they would. Thanks Ellie. How is the Pizza week going? How is your daughter doing?
Mar. 15, 2013 8:00 am
We are often split here when it comes to food likes and dislikes too. Pizza week has been fun for my son..he even tried a few new spinach and pineapple and we experimented with thin crusts and different cheeses... My daughter is finishing up the tour in Paris...she flies home tomorrow....Sounds like she has had fun trying all the local food specialties ..they had Crepes last night apparently. She'll never want my crepes again!!!!! Thanks for asking Nadine..have a great day.

You too. I bet you will be happy when your daughter gets home.

This delicious and easy recipe is a great way to get your family to eat more veggies. The filling contains zucchini, carrots, cabbage, red pepper, onions, and garlic, yet still tastes so yummy that even the pickiest eaters gobble them up!

I've seen Mac and cheese with hamburg put right in. It's like a cheeseburger in a bowl! :) pair it with a salad for something healthy. You could also do a salad with chopped deli meats and a little fruit, which balances out the cheese in the main dish.

Thank you for the suggestion. I unfortunalty there are a few of us who like mac and cheese by itself but I will keep that in mind and creater two dishes.

We like mac as a meatless meal usually but when I want a meat I slice and grill (broil) up smoked sausages.
