Mine isn't sticky, but it's my favorite roasted whole chicken because it is so flavorful through and through. Love it!

The name is not indicative of how it turns out----that's for sure. I have made this a number of times but just cook it now as a normal chicken---at 350 until it's done. We do like the flavor, and I like the broth I get from it. But sticky? No!

Hi Becky, I made it once, it was Fab and no not sticky but I didn't even care! It tasted Great! It just meant less napkins to use:)

I even posted in my review how this was not sticky at all. But very good, nonetheless!

I cooked mine low and slow about five hours and it was sticky.

I think the 'sticky' part is just a clever name for the recipe. I bake it at a more normal 325 for about 1.5 hrs and it turns out great. The herb/spice mixture give it great flavor, not the unusually low temp and long bake time.
