This sounds like my old recipe for beef stroganoff I used to make when my boys were little. All your food you cooked up looks great Deb...and I bet you have enough leftover for a break...enjoy!

Good morning! We're supposed to have more snow/high winds today, so this should be warming tonight. DH isn't home, so I'm not trying the one with meat (although I have added sausage to this recipe-very good). Or if I'm really tired, a grilled cheese. I haven't seen any extra snow yet!

Hi, Happy Monday, a glorious start to the week. Today, these but in mini-burger style with a raita, poppadums and spicy noodles. Asian Style Spicy Burgers These are best with Lamb Mince. 450g/1lb Minced Lamb/Minced Beef 1tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 small Lemon - Juice only 3 cloves Garlic - finely chopped 2 red Chillies - deseeded and finely chopped 3tsp fresh Ginger - grated 30g/1oz fresh Cilantro - chopped ½tsp ground Coriander ½tsp ground Cumin ½tsp freshly ground Black Pepper ¾tsp Garam Masala ½tsp Salt Optional - 2tbsp Butter - for cooking only Method Pour 3tsp lemon juice over the mince, combine well together and set aside in fridge for some 30 minutes; In a separate bowl, mix together all the other ingredients including the rest of the lemon juice into a paste; Fold the paste into the mince/lemon mixture and combine thoroughly; Form into hamburger shapes to size desired; 1tbsp Vegetable Oil Cooking 1. Brush with a little oil and Grill or Barbeque on a medium heat until meat is cooked through but not dry; 2. Heat oil in a pan and cook medium heat, turning at least once, until meat is cooked through and juices are clear;

Don’s Raita 2 x 125g/40z carton Greek or Greek Style Yoghurt 5tbsp fresh Mint Leaves - chopped 2tbsp fresh Coriander (Cilantro) - chopped ½tsp to 1tsp Lemon Juice - to taste Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper - to taste Place all ingredients in a small bowl and mix together well; “Blitz” with hand blender, chill and serve.
