Hi, try these. cheers Zabaglione al ProseccoVegSo very easy, these elegant desserts are like a very grown-up custard. Ingredients 8 egg yolks 100g/3½oz caster sugar 175ml/6fl oz Prosecco (Italian Sparkling Wine) Preparation method 1.Place a heatproof bowl over a pan of barely simmering water and place the egg yolks and sugar into it. Make sure the base of the bowl does not touch the simmering water. 2.Using an electric whisk, start whisking the egg yolks and sugar in the bowl over the simmering water. The mixture will become pale and thick like whipped double cream, and it should triple in volume and be very frothy. This could take up to 15 minutes but it's worth the wait. 3.Continue whisking and slowly pour in the Prosecco. 4.Pour the zabaglione into eight dessert glasses and serve immediately

If anyone has a pizzelle iron these would be cool shaped into bowls and use to serve ice cream (or gelato).

These are so crunchy they should be dunked (Coffee, Latte, Espresso, Vino, etc.). If you don't have hazelnuts, use almonds instead.

This is an authentic Italian cheesecake recipe handed down through generations. The results are a creamy, but not too thick, cheesecake that your family--Italian or not--is sure to enjoy.

These light, airy fried pastries are a huge part of 'Carnevale' in Italy and a favorite holiday treat for Italian-Americans. Originally from the Veneto region of Italy, this recipe has been handed down from generation to generation.

These soft Italian-style cookies are a hit with everyone. The ricotta keeps them moist, and the recipe yields a large batch, which is great since the baked cookies freeze so well. Do not freeze the unbaked dough. You can decorate them with chopped candied cherries, colored sugar or candy sprinkles.
