hey pc- you ok??- i am serious- when hubby says something rude about dinner- or says nothing about a new recipe- next day i make sure it us a meal i know he doesen't care for- me? bitter?? lol- no -of course not-- hope you are ok- --you "sound" funny??

and another thing- i gotta go to work now- but i collect tips-- i will share when i get home- every tips is needed by someone- i love having them available for when someone asks a question:-)

I am thinking like Nanny. I do have to cook for 4 people and I know everyone's taste buds. There are some dishes that have ingred that someone doesn't like and I try to sub for the ingred to suit everyone. And I have took some ingred to one side of the dish to suit 1 person. Hope you're still not angry.

No Nanny, I wasn't alright. Have to admit, got mad then got tipsy. Indiana, I'm better now. Manella, the chicken is about to come out of the oven soon. Marianne, I knew I was among like minded peeps. Which is why I felt comfortable enough to vent. Cliff, I'll share it but not happy about it. Made my man help clean the chicken. He was appalled. LOL

OMGoodness Cheryl! How did I miss responding to you. Thank you for feeling my pain. We're a family of 6. And I know what it's like to do the best to accommodate all. Can't always be done though. :)

My husband and I have always done the dishes together. He has been very ill now for a while and doesn't feel like helping very often anymore. I sure do miss that time with him not to mention the help he was.The kids do put there dishes in the sink to be rinsed. Thats about the help I get from them. Actually they are great grand kids ages 12 and 4. The 12 year old is about to get a rude awakening in the kitchen department. I have custody of them.

Yeah, Char...considering I do practically all the cooking (talking about 90% here), I feel the least they can do is keep the kitchen clean. They know how I get when they don't help out in a timely manner. But hey, we all get a little lazy every now and then. Have to try to remember that, cause truth be told there are some nights when they'd be lucky to get a grilled cheese from me. Lol!!
