I am looking for a recipe that we used to make a long time ago. We called it 1-2-3-4. I can't find it by this name anywhere. It has a bottom crust made with brown sugar, butter and pecans...I think. Then you would layer a chocolate pudding that was quite rich alternating with cool whip. I don't remember if we used box pudding or if you make the pudding from scratch. Any suggestion? Thanks for any input!

The only cake I knew called 1-2-3-4 was the one on the back on Swans Down cake flour. It did not have pudding or whipped topping in it. It was made with cake flour , sugar, eggs, buttermilk or regular milk.

If you post as 'request a recipe' instead of 'ask a question' we won't have to post a link to the recipe but can recommend them directly to your post.

http://allrecipes.com/recipe/piggy-pudding-dessert-cake/detail.aspx Maybe something like this ? I used a box of instant pudding , and made it with the amount of milk called for on the box , instead of the amount listed in the recipe . Was very good .

Thanks for the recipes. Sex in a pan is very close! I think I will try that one. And next time, I will use the "request a recipe" option! I appreciate the help!
