I read the book and really liked it but haven't seen the movie. I heard from Lindsay this morning. Lexi is in pain but made it fine. Her grandma is back in the hospital so she just hasn't had time to stop in.

Iceemama, Thank you for remembering my post yesterday. Lindsay has a lot going on right now. I have not read the book. I've read some of Nicholas Sparks books where the movie is a little different. I want to get this book. I saw the book when it first came out and thought "go ahead and buy it" but didn't. Great movie. I will not spoil it for you. I do want to say this. Nicholas named a little girl after his- Lexie!

Didn't know if that made sense. Nicholas named a character after his daughter- Lexie.

Me too. My mom took my daughter and I to the movies for Valentines day. It was good. My daughter complained that it was slow and boring and by the end she really enjoyed the movie. She said the ending made the movie.
