John is asking: (1 answer)
I have used Chef John's "Perfect Prime Rib" system for roasting....and had great results with a five pound boneless rib roast. If you review his method, my question would be: If I place two five pound roasts in the oven a the same time and use his math, would it be for the five pounds only or for the whole ten pounds. thanks, jdy

Same as a single 5 pound roast.

But it could be that each roast will be done at a different time----this according to our local talkshow host, Melinda Lee.

The time would be the same as a 5 lb roast. Slight differences is cook time could be the result of more/less bone/fat on one vs the other.
