Love my dog! He is always on my lap looking at whatever I am doing. I stepped away from what I was doing, in those pics, and that is what I found when I returned. Crazy dog! Please keep him in your thoughts - he just turned one and is not feeling well. We did blood work and a biopsy is scheduled for Wednesday. "possible" Leukemia or immune issue. The other line of thought is it may be a food allergy. I am researching making his food (which I would LOVE to do) at the request of the vet. She is working up suggested foods for high nutrition for me. He is a loving boy, sad to see him feeling so bad.

Sorry to hear the doggie isn't feeling too well, hope everything turns out okay. Hoping it is just a diet issue...poor fella.

Dogs are such amazing creatures...they bring us so much joy. My fur-baby makes me laugh everyday. Much love to your baby, too. Hope all turns out well. My Belle has food allergies to and I supplement her food with a Tablespoon of coconut oil everyday, and it seems to help.

my golden(turned 6 on 1-31) is alergic to all grains- it took forever to get to the point of no grains at all- first no corn- then no rice-and on & on-- should go the other way - no grains - then introduce them one at a time- the worst is corn then rice then wheat-- poor baby was almost bald- before they got him straightened out-i really figured it out myself as my naturalist says biting of the joints (ankles mostly) is the first sign of alergies-- as where it settles is almost like when they get "bloat"- which both goldens and danes are prone to-

Thanks, everyone. I am leaning (hoping it is only)toward a food issues. Fred has turned away from his usual brand (Cal. Natural chicken and rice) of food. We thought it was puppy acne but the rash has spread and is almost cystic, lymph nodes are swollen and he has a 104 fever we cant seem to get under control. Fred is shedding so much I think I have a hair ball forming, (cough, cough) LOL! Weight loss is increasing... Vet seems optimistic though so we will see. I appreciate all the kind thoughts. :)
