nanny129 STAR! - A couple of weeks ago, I requested recipes for using up my flavored coffee creamers I had in the frig. You suggested the inside recipe. It turned out great! I'm sure I irritated somebody because I changed up the recipe, but I was thrilled to make something with my creamer rather than throw it out! Thanks!

Looks good, Paula. I would like to think you are teaching tolerance by tweaking. There are bigger problems than making substitutions in a recipe.

i wonder if i could use some syrups i have in the pantry- i think there is almond & a couple of more-- i love tweaking -and i was thinking of a mixture to go in oatmeal?? any ideas on that?

you used the liquid right??- guess you could hydrate the powdered stuff too:-)

Yes, it was liquid. Turned out pretty sweet. Could easily use a little regular milk mixed with the creamer next time if I want them less sweet.

i am glad it worked out- i hate to waste any kind of food- sometimes the best meals come from "scraps"=i learned about scones when we moved wto washington state- just sweet biscuits really- so i always think of when i was a kid and for a special breakfast mama would make chocolate gravy for leftover biscuits-yum- mama always made chocolate biscuit pudding too- just like bread pudding- but so much better

yes that stuff is really sweet- i bet that coconut flavor was great in there- chocolate-coconut-almond- what more could you want??

and as far as the hot chocolate- all the mexicans i worked with at chili's would put a cinnamon stick in the cup- i like that the best

WTG. Paula! ! Marie is right, who cares that you changed the creamer. What if you were allergic to hazelnuts and Still wanted to make them cuz they looked really good? You would swap out the creamer! Glad they worker so well for you!!
