My organic Peanut Butter doesn't say to refridgerate. Am I ok to leave it out?

I stir all the oil in and then put in the fridge for two reasons: to keep the oil from coming back to the top; and to keep it from going rancid.

You should always refrigerate fresh peanut butter. When it is organic even more so. I find it is easier to spread when put in the refrigerator and then just left out for a few minutes before using.

The first time I bought natural pb, I didn't know you were suppose to stir it of put in the fridge. The first time I used it, I poured off all the oil on top. Needless to say, within a couple of days it was as dry as a bone. What a waste. I finally asked around and was told to always stir and stick in fridge.
