Good morning! I'm making a small batch of the Mie Goreng & also making this....http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Apricot-Barbecued-Chicken, which I also add Sweet Chili Sauce to. If I have time to pick up egg roll wrappers in town, I'll make WFDM's egg rolls(minus the pepper, adding ginger).

Update on daughter-Dr put her on an every day migraine med & ordered physical therapy & 1/2 days of school for now. We contacted the principal & we'll work out a plan w/the co-principal, who's supposed to contact us today. He seemed sympathetic so we'll see what they come up with. Off to get everyone off to school & work & then I have a mammogram & running around to do before picking DD up. Have a great day everyone! Thank you for your support & kind words yesterday!!!!!

Before you send your little ghouls out the door on Halloween, feed them a warm supper of orange-colored tomato tortilla quesadillas, filled with Cheddar cheese, sweet potatoes, and black beans. You can cook the sweet potatoes in a microwave oven ahead of time.

Good morning. I may order a pizza for delivery tonight. I got paid (not that I have money for it...) but taking my kid up to see my grandma. She was so incredibly depressed (gram) yesterday it broke my heart. Hoping seeing her great granddaughter may help. AND.. noticed last night a HUGE black bubble inside my dogs mouth. It was so upsetting I was crying. Have to take her to vet asap. Bad stuff just keeps coming my way. Sorry to vent and "kvetch" (yiddish saying). Thanks for listening. Hugs to you all.

wow- update, not kiddo tells me this morning her throat hurts. I look and see white spots. The nurse at school tells me it doesn't look good. She may have strep. Taking her to see doctor this afternoon and hopefully will get a culture. Maybe it's a good thing... as it probably wouldn't be a good idea for me to go see my grandma if my daughter is sick (and certainly not my daughter). Grandma is weak and even if I'm not symptomatic now, could pass something to her. This could be a blessing in disguse to give me a rest. thanks you for all your kind words you guys!
