Spicy Tomato Jam

More like a relish than a true jam, this spicy delicacy will tingle your taste buds and is a great way to use a bumper crop of tomatoes and super over cream cheese with crackers! I always get rave reviews whenever I open a jar of this jam. Use as you would a relish – great over cream cheese served with crackers!

Hi Elle, just checked in once more. I was wondering about the black bean burgers you rec. for someone earlier tonight, mentioning they could be frozen. How are they reheated in microwave? I am very interested in recipe!

Black beans and sweet potatoes are spiced up with jalapenos, cumin, and garlic, then broiled in the oven for a cake that's less fat but just as flavorful as the fried kind.

Hi emeralds! With this one, I reccmmend a fine grate for the sweet potato. I used a coarse grate and the potato stood out a bit. I'll make this once more with the sweet potato, then I want to try it with grated carrot and see it that works as well-carrots are easier to find here. I've not reheated this or the Best of Everything Veggie Burgers in the microwave. I usually reheat them on the stove. I think reheating time in the microwave would depend on the size and how cold the burger is. Maybe try 50% power for 1 1/2 minutes to start? Then see if the middle is heating and go from there. Probably a few minutes of standing time would help the middle reheat, but I don't usually have the patience for that.

This veggie bean burger has the best of everything - black beans, brown rice, cheese, mushrooms, and a great mix of seasonings.

This is the other recipe I use. I like it a little better, but it's more involved. I change the spices a bit to our taste and add grated carrot and diced celery. I skip the mushrooms if DH will be eating them.

Thanks, if you see this. It was the 2nd one I'd mentioned. So fry? I'd wondered if they'd be mush in mircrowave.
