Good question! Unfortunately I have no idea, the couple of times I have tried making have not been great successes!

What did you not like? I have never had it. I don't usually used those canned biscuits for anything.

I make a recipe similar to this and while it is better a little warm, it is still good at room temp.

I make this garlic one above only using melted butter & garlic powder (not garlic salt) And roll the tubes in the butter using my fingers to separate the biscuits getting the garlic-butter between the slices. We love it and when it's sitting out after dinner, someone always goes back to get a leftover room temp piece.

Refrigerated biscuits with cinnamon bake in a tube pan. My 7 year old daughter, Leah, loves her Monkey Bread. Enjoy!

Hi Shorecook. I looked at #16 under "most helpful" and "most positive". Not yours. Could you paste it here? I looked at your reviews on your profile page...too many! Anyway, good thinking about the microwave.

Funny, when I look for the right number, there it is! Here's the very helpful review in case others are interested: Quick to make and easy to do. It's a recipe I will enjoy making with my grandchildren. So many steps that are easy for them to do and I know they will enjoy eating it. I would, however, double the margarine and brown sugar and spread it in the middle as well as on top. (As many suggested and I learned the hard way! lol) Using a pizza wheel to cut the dough is a great idea. (as previously suggested) For safety reasons, I would not use a two-piece pan when working with children as they could get burned by the syrup. (as a reviewer previously wrote) If you do use a two-piece pan, line the bottom with wax paper and it will not leak. (I did it that way as I did not have a bunt pan). It can be sliced with a serated knife and eaten with a fork. Warmed for 15 seconds in the microwave the next day and it is as good as fresh baked. Thank you, LuAnn, for sharing such a great recipe. Update: For Valentine's day my granddaughter, Rachel, made mini bundt cakes with my assistance. Fill the pan almost to the top, as it will "grow" as it cooks. We know, ours grew out of the pan; but, it gave us some laughs!
