Good evening everyone, I have just downloaded a photo of my lemon plant that I am looking after on my kitchen table facing in a southerly direction that is considered the best for the plant. It has been steadily growing now and I need to wait until it gets to 2 ft before I can put it in a new pot. If this works for me now maybe I can do the same with a photo of one of my recipes.

I have a Meyer lemon tree, Cheerios. For the first time, I have three tiny lemons growing! I put mine outside from late spring until mid-fall. It's not a pretty tree, but it's finally producing! Only advice I can give you, is if you get any suckers growing, snip 'em off. You can tell they're suckers because they'll have big nasty thorns. Good luck with yours!!!

As far as I know this is a regular lemon tree that I hope will produce lemons at some point in its growth. I have to keep it indoors where I am here because our warm season just is not warm enough for a lemon plant to be out overnight.

Good luck with your lemon tree! I have a meyer lemon, an orange, and a lime tree growing in my living room. I got them last summer, and this winter they have really started growing. Light is a challenge in the winter her in Wisconsin, so I've supplemented with growing lights kept on them for about 12 hours a day. So far, it's working!

Hi wisweetp, I can only have lemons since I cannot enjoy oranges and rarely have grapefruit. This is the one fruit that I can enjoy on a regular basis for recipes and as a refreshment for anytime of the day. I have heard it mentioned that a meyer lemon is the best thing to grow besides a different variety that does not grow as large as some lemon trees making it easier to look after indoors. This plant was given to me by a friend and I was not sure what type of lemon this plant was.
