One of my friends is having stomach issues. He has to change his way of eating, and is trying food stacking. He is coming for supper Friday, and I am not sure what to cook. He said he is trying not to mix carbs and proteins in the same meal. Suggestions? I thought just grilled chicken and side of veggies, but that is just so boring. Thanks!

Your friend's stomach issues should tolerate oven-fried tilapia, and steamed broccoli with roasted sliced almonds, EVOO and Mrs. Dash. Your friend out to try taking one of the digestive aids, such as Phillips Colon Health. I am a retired pharmacist who likes to cook. Hope some of this helps. Bill, R.Ph.

Grilled chicken and side of veggies is anything but boring. Sounds great to me! Make a salad too.
