Saltine crackers soak in spices overnight, including plenty of hot red chili flakes, until they are mighty hot. Serve with chili.

if you don't care for spicy- you cold follow the basic instructions- just toss in olive oil and dust with a pkg of dry ranch mix--

Hi, you can grind them up and use as breading for fish and such. They will keep for a long time in the freezer.

Manella is on to a good idea. I would either make the Ranch Oyster Crackers (in which case you could eat on them and then freeze any left-overs) or I would crush them and use in meatloaf or for breading chicken or fish (again, freezing any left over).

These are wonderful and easy to make. The garlic powder adds a great flavor and baking in the oven helps to get the flavor more evenly distributed.

These are deliciously crunchy soda crackers with a special spicy seasoning. The longer these sit, the better they get!

I make this with oyster crackers and it is the bomb. You can also add other snack items to the finished product to make a snack mix.

Comfort your tummy with this dreamy bake of chicken, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream and tender egg noodles. Cracker crumbs sauteed in butter makes a deliciously crunchy topping.

I put this together last night (for tonight's dinner, before it was posted as the Recipe of the Day today!) I bet you could crush them up as a topping for something like this.
