I have a spiral ham in the freezer. I've NEVER made a ham before....I prefer just to do ham steaks, so hopefully it'll turn out. Not sure about my sides yet.

My daughter & I have been craving Don's cheesy cauliflower, so def that but I need other sides & I'm not sure. I'm trying to use things I already have...I grocery shop next week. Suggestions? Normally I would do cheesy potatoes but since I'm making the cheesy caul, I need something different.

The cheesy cauliflower sounds like a good choice. We weldom eat ham-I usually make a hash brown casserole with it because if we have ham, we have compnay. Maybe just having a second vegetable, something colorful like carrots, broccoli, or asparagus, would be good.

Sherri, love that! May be too rich w/the cheesy potatoes, tho??! I thought about making asparagus w/it....maybe I still will. Maybe I'll do something salad-y & maybe deviled eggs. Baked beans? I feel like I'm creating an Easter dinner all of the sudden :)

It's Chili by George!!

This is a good, standard chili, with lots of ground beef, tomatoes, kidney and pinto beans, and onions. It needs to simmer for 90 minutes on the stove, or can be made in a slow cooker and left to simmer all day.
