I have 2 boneless pork loin chops I need to make tonight. I have a bag of Green Giant Roasted Red Potatoes, Green Beans & Rosemary Butter Sauce I would like to have with them. I was thinking about just baking them with some rosemary, garlic, and pepper, and perhaps some apples. Any thoughts? Suggestions? TIA

Hi, simple bake re herbs and can add butterBaked Pork Chops Oil a foil lined baking tray; Oil, salt and pepper the meat; Optional: Can scatter fresh herbs or mixture of herbs over the meat (Oregano, Marjoram, Rosemary, Thyme, Parsley, Basil etc); Preheat oven to 190c/380f/Gas 5; Bake for some 10 to 15 minutes or more depending size until just cooked through and the juices are running freely and clear. Check with fork as you wish and turn once during cooking; At most, a touch, and I mean a touch, of brown colour in the juices; at end.

Everyone who has this loves it! It's surprisingly simple and quick. Garlic, rosemary, and white wine flavor the pork. The aroma is wonderful. Try steaming fresh broccoli, then frying it in the pan juices for a perfect side dish.

Sweet, sauteed apples are great for breakfast, but you can serve them at any meal. The syrup from the apples is delicious on homemade pancakes or waffles.

Imagine pork chops resting on a bed of sliced apples dotted with butter and dusted with brown sugar and cinnamon. Then imagine sherry poured over the top. Bake until tender. Eat until satisfied.

This is very good. Use apple juice if you don't want to use sherry.

This is a family standard. We have it at least once a week during the winter. The spices, nuts and raisins can be interchanged or omitted depending upon your tastes. Serve with oatmeal, French toast, pancakes, or as a side dish.
